Amputee Pain

Is Residual/Phantom Limb Pain Holding You Back?

Volunteers with lower extremity amputations are needed for participation in a clinical research study.

Doctors and other medical professionals are currently tying to determine if small electrical pulses reduce phantom limb and residual limb pain.  Electrical stimulation consist of small pulses of electricity sent to different parts of the body to improve function.  The electrical stimulation device being researched involves only an outpatient procedure, so you will be able to go home within the same day.
