• Regular Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday- Friday.  Voicemail available for messages.  Do not have the Answering Service page the coordinator- they will page whoever is on call and often this is not who you need.  Leave a message or send an email.
  • Schedule all monitoring/close-out visits through Terri Monroe.  Please indicate if time with PI is needed or just signatures.  Indicate if a drug count will be needed.  Please let Terri know if there are others who will be coming for the visit.
  • During inclement weather the voicemail will indicate if hours have been altered.  Should you have a monitoring visit scheduled please confirm the day prior in case of local severe weather.
  • After hours, holidays, and weekends are covered by voicemail with transfer to answering service for urgent matters.  A research staff member is always on call for emergencies.
  • Should you need to leave a message for a staff member after hours we all have voicemail, or if you leave it on the main voicemail it will be delivered to the staff member on the following business day.
  • Email communication works well and you can copy it to all who need to be made aware of the information.
  • Please confirm your monitoring visit 3-4 days prior to the scheduled date.  Either email, fax, or letter works well.  If you have special needs please communicate them to Terri Monroe, especially internet access.
  • At the end of each monitoring visit we ask that you spend several minutes with the Director and the Regulatory personnel to review any findings or update any new information.  We also ask that the coordinator be aware of which CRFs have been pulled.
  • There is access to internet service and a copier available.  There is either a conference phone in the room or down at the end of the corridor, or you may use your cell phone.
  • Requirements to connect to CPI/CCR wireless network:  You must have a wireless device (laptop, PDA, palm, etc.) that can connect using WPA-PSK -TKIP encryption.  This is not a strict or complicated encryption method.  Any device obtained within the last 3 years should have the ability to use this method.
